Malaria isn't a disease you can physically see on someone. The only way to tell if someone has malaria is by the symptoms. The symptoms include; a high fever and flu like illness, shaking and chills, headaches/muscle aches, and tiredness. Symptoms such as nausea, diarrhea and vomiting could also occur. Severe symptoms such as yellowing of the skin and the eyes, also known as jaundice and anemia could transpire because of loss of red blood cells. If malaria isn't properly treated the host could develop particular infections like kidney disease, seizures, mental confusion, a coma, or even possibly death over time.
